John Gray is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and the creator of the series Ghost Whisperer.
Gray created the series for television network CBS after interviewing Mary Ann Winkowski, a ghostbuster who can see spirits.
Many of the paranormal experiences Winkowski described during the interview, like seeing ghosts in the coffee shop, made it into the Pilot episode of the show.[1]
Gray directed the first episode of the series, and is credited with writing several episodes.
