In the episode, Melinda's First Ghost, we got to meet the very first ghost that Melinda ever saw when she was a child: Sarah Applewhite, one of her former classmates, who passed away, due to an illness. Shortly after her encounter with Sarah, Melinda had a tough time with her gift. According to Melinda, it was her grandmother who helped her with her gift. With that said, should Ghost Whisperer have a prequel to explain how Melinda became the Ghost Whisperer that we all know and love? It could be interesting to see Melinda helping ghosts crossover into the light as a child and a teenager. What do you think?
